Holkar royal cenotaphs

Krishnapura Chhatris are ornate cenotaphs associated with later Holkar rulers and queens, located near the Khan River in central Indore. The memorials feature decorated spires, sculptural elements and life-size representations connected with the royal family. Their riverside setting and proximity to Rajwada make them a convenient heritage stop for visitors exploring old Indore.
